  • Question: What kind of Sites are allowed on Joomlatests.com?
    Answer: We accept any kind of site built with Joomla!, for evaluation, study and testing purposes only.
    Like stated in our rules
    , we will accept:
    -a Joomla! installation for evaluation, study and testing purposese only.
    -a Joomla! installation to set up a prototype site, to use as a test environment, before going into production.
    -a Joomla! installation to set up a demo site to show to a client for your job (or to get one).
  • Question: What kind of Sites are NOT allowed on Joomlatests.com?
    Answer: We won't accept anything made for direct profit or any kind of abuse.
    Again, like our rules state, we will NOT accept:
    -a Joomla! installation to build a continued and complete online presence (even if non-profit), to build personal Web Sites, to take part in Web Contests, for Commercial sites, adult sites or (worse) Spam, Phishing, Fake or scam sites.
    -a Joomla! installation used to sell or rent goods or services, or to make a direct profit in any other way.

    Banner ads are NOT allowed
    (exept for Joomla! standard ones, Our Banners, Open Source Matters or other Open Source FREE resources).

  • Question: How much space will I get? How much does it cost?
    Answer: You will get 100 MB for your test project, including a MySQL Database and a FTP account. No costs at all, FREE for everybody!

  • Question: Can I choose my sub-domain name?
    Answer: Your sub-domain will be created after your user account used to register to the site. If you register as "johnny_web" then your sub-domain will be "johnny_web.joomlatests.com".

  • Question: Can I install [Wordpress, Drupal, Pligg, phpBB, or any other CMS/Forum/Open Source Project] on my Joomlatests.com subdomain?
    Answer: Our site is for Joomla! tests only. Other stuff like Forums, Blogs and so on can be installed only if integrated in your main Joomla! site, not as "standaone" products. (We have nothing against the above mentioned projects, BTW).
